Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dedicated logistics team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our order fulfillment process, responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory and carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. You'll work within a dynamic warehouse setting, contributing to the timely and accurate dispatch of goods. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect products for defects before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and ensure all packages are ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Utilize handheld scanners for inventory tracking.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use mandated PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics procedures.
