We are seeking motivated Distribution Center Associates for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a key member of our operations team, you will contribute to the efficient flow of goods within our distribution network. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping preparation. This role is essential for our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack orders accurately using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory organization.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and audits.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform duties with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in logistics operations.
- Utilize safe lifting practices to handle materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and sometimes physically demanding setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems are a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety and following all guidelines.
