In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to fulfilling customer orders, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packaging.
- Package items securely for safe transit, ensuring appropriate materials are used.
- Label shipments correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Ensure consistent use of required PPE.
- Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting of packages and materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
Work Environment:
This position is based in a warehouse setting where conditions can vary. The role involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting. Strict adherence to all Safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE are required.
