Seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse. This critical role ensures the efficient movement and organization of goods throughout our logistics facility. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport inventory, contributing significantly to our supply chain operations. A strong commitment to safety is essential; adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a proven track record of safe operation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include conducting pre-operation inspections of equipment, transporting materials to and from designated areas, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas.
- Stack and arrange inventory according to established procedures.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
