We are looking for a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments at our Houston, Texas facility. This role is critical to our logistics process, ensuring that all received goods are accurately documented, inspected, and put away. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for many deliveries, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and shipping manifests. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts and pallet jacks safely, managing warehouse inventory, and maintaining a clean and orderly receiving area. Strict adherence to safety procedures, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. This role involves moderate to heavy Lifting, often handling packages weighing up to 60 pounds. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience in warehouse receiving or inventory management is highly desirable.
