Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and unstack palletized goods.
- Conduct daily inspections of reach truck equipment and report any defects.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Pick and stage orders accurately according to shipping manifests.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to PPE and safe work practices.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and potential issues.
- Adhere to all Lifting requirements and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification or ability to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting tasks (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
