We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments. This includes preparing shipping documents, labeling packages correctly, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all shipments meet company and carrier requirements. Your meticulous approach will help maintain our reputation for efficient logistics. You must be committed to upholding the highest Safety standards, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices when handling packages. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify shipping labels and documentation.
- Package products securely for transit.
- Track outgoing shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized shipping records and logs.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE and follow safe Lifting techniques.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar logistics role.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Understanding of Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
