We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that materials are received, stored, picked, and shipped accurately and on time. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Your primary duties will involve operating various material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and assisting with general warehouse duties. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Moving materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping.
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to instructions.
- Conducting regular inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Performing general warehouse maintenance tasks.
