Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is essential for efficient Logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will play a key part in managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing processes to minimize discrepancies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations.
  • Ensure proper organization and placement of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems to track stock movements.
  • Generate reports on inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and other key metrics.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to Safety regulations and protocols.
  • Properly document all inventory adjustments and transactions.
  • Oversee the correct usage and maintenance of PPE within inventory-controlled areas.
This role requires excellent analytical and organizational skills. While not constantly involving heavy Lifting , there will be occasions requiring the movement of inventory items up to 50 pounds, often with the aid of material handling equipment.
