Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Baltimore, Maryland! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within our distribution center. This role is essential to our daily Logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods. A strong commitment to Safety , adherence to procedures, and a valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one) are required. If you are a skilled operator looking for a challenging and rewarding position, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with merchandise.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas, production areas, and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange materials in a neat and orderly manner.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Follow all company safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and operate in a clutter-free environment.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Participate in general warehouse duties as assigned.
