Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Store materials in designated locations, optimizing space.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas for safety hazards.
- Maintain inventory records accurately.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Certification to operate forklifts is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 lbs, consistently.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
