We are looking for skilled individuals with a proven track record of safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment. This role is fundamental to our warehouse's success, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The ability to perform routine inspections of equipment and identify any potential issues is also key. We value reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position involves frequent Lifting of items up to 70 lbs, so physical stamina is required. You will work collaboratively with other warehouse associates to achieve daily operational goals. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 70 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
