Our expanding distribution center in Cincinnati, Ohio, has an exciting opening for a Distribution Center Associate! This position is integral to the success of our logistics network, involving a wide range of warehouse activities. You will be instrumental in tasks such as receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately picking and packing customer orders, preparing items for shipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. We are searching for motivated, dependable individuals who are ready to contribute to a positive and productive team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately log incoming inventory.
- Inspect products for damage and verify against order documents.
- Pick and pack customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, maintaining safety standards.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Operate equipment like pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock management.
- Consistently use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is beneficial.
- Capability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to remain on your feet, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring order accuracy.
- Strong collaborative spirit and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in working within a fast-paced and physically demanding setting.
- Understanding and strict adherence to all safety protocols.
