Join our growing logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona, as a Material Handler. This position is vital for the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. Key duties include receiving incoming goods, stocking inventory, assisting with order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to following safety guidelines. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that our logistics operations run seamlessly and that customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock incoming materials and products.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Perform tasks that require manual lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the distribution center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
