Seeking an energetic Distribution Center Associate for our Tampa, Florida facility! This role is fundamental to our supply chain and involves a variety of tasks essential for efficient warehouse operations. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking inventory. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will work closely with other team members to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, contributing to the overall success of our logistics. Safety is a top priority; you must consistently follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting techniques. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities include: Accurately picking products for customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets. Packing orders securely and efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit. Labeling packages and preparing them for shipment. Receiving and inspecting incoming inventory, verifying quantities against shipping documents. Stocking received goods in designated warehouse locations. Conducting inventory checks and assisting with cycle counts to maintain accuracy. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Following all company safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. Operating basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks. Contributing to the team effort to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety protocols, including proper PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
