Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our high-volume logistics facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stage, and transport materials within the warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, supporting inventory management, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, highly skilled, and capable of working productively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and documented correctly.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies, procedures, and traffic management rules.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and maintain workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations and Safety.
  • Support overall logistics operations and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and at least 3 years of recent, verifiable forklift operating experience.
  • Proven expertise in operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Deep understanding of Safety regulations and best practices in a logistics environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a cooperative team member.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding a high standard of Safety.
  • Experience with RF scanning devices is a plus.
