You will be responsible for accurately locating items within our warehouse, meticulously picking them according to order specifications, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Success in this position requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to rigorously follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE. This physically active role involves consistent movement and requires the ability to handle Lifting of products throughout your shift. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick ordered items from various warehouse locations using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the item and quantity accuracy against the customer order before packing.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation correctly to all packages.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within your picking and packing area.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and company policies.
- Wear and correctly utilize all required PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality standards.
- Operate manual equipment like hand trucks as needed.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels clearly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following instructions.
