Are you a certified Forklift Operator seeking a new opportunity in Boise, Idaho? We are hiring skilled operators to join our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking inventory. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the smooth operation of our distribution center. Safety is our utmost priority; you must consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly adhere to all Safety procedures and forklift operating regulations. This role involves regular Lifting and handling of goods, requiring both forklift proficiency and physical capability. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to move, stack, and unstack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Ensure correct placement and labeling of inventory.
- Follow all company Safety protocols, including mandatory PPE usage.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong understanding of Logistics and material handling principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and following all Safety rules.
