Our Quality Assurance team plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our offerings. About the Role As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will execute quality programs and policies in specific areas such as recalls and customer complaints, minimizing risks and ensuring supply chain integrity. With your foundational knowledge of quality assurance concepts, you will create insightful reports on quality metrics to support resolutions for quality-related issues. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise, seeking guidance from experienced team members while assisting on complex projects. Your Responsibilities Lead initiatives to gather substance information on products and raw materials from suppliers. Load and extract systematic product data within Cardinal Health Master Data systems. Review and assess incoming questionnaire forms for completeness and relevance. Collaborate with Supplier, Sourcing, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to gather necessary information. Identify and convey risks effectively to management. Support the management of quality-related policies governing product data. Investigate and provide recommendations for quality and regulatory issues identified in current processes. Engage with cross-functional partners to assist in executing the Medical Distribution Quality Plan. Deploy policies and programs aimed at minimizing risks and ensuring compliant operations. Apply knowledge of applicable laws and regulatory concepts to manage risks effectively. Help develop programs, policies, and procedures ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Break down complex functional tasks into manageable parts to enhance understanding. Stay informed about technical disciplines and best practices to ensure high performance. Utilize your expertise to assist internal and external customers in meeting their key needs. Foster an innovative environment, encouraging informed risk-taking and practical solutions. Lead change initiatives with a focus on strategic implementation and embracing diversity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of related experience preferred. Familiarity with regulated substance regulations such as EU MDR, REACH, and California Proposition 65 preferred. Experience in medical and pharmaceutical distribution operations preferred. Strong verbal, written, computer, SAP, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proven influencing skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
