Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanning equipment.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for outbound transportation.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in team efforts to meet production goals and support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic inventory management and logistics concepts.
