You will be responsible for all aspects of material handling, from unpacking incoming shipments to preparing outgoing orders. Key duties include operating forklifts and other machinery, organizing inventory, and ensuring the timely movement of goods. Safety is our top priority, and all team members are expected to strictly follow our comprehensive Safety program. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves frequent Lifting and requires physical stamina. Successful candidates will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial, but not strictly required, as we offer on-the-job training. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks safely and effectively.
- Load and unload freight from trucks and containers.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Process orders accurately and prepare them for shipment.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
