Shipping Clerk

This role is crucial for managing the outgoing shipments of our products, ensuring accuracy, and coordinating with carriers. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, and maintaining records. This position is key to our logistics department, ensuring that our products reach their destinations efficiently and without issue. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all employees to follow strict Safety protocols. You will be provided with all necessary PPE for any associated warehouse tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys problem-solving. Your accuracy and communication skills will be vital. Occasional Lifting may be required.

• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading and manifests.
• Schedule and coordinate outgoing shipments with carriers.
• Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and files.
• Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipping status.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper packaging.
• Operate shipping software and equipment.
• Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.

• Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related administrative/logistics role.
• Proficiency in shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle occasional Lifting of packages up to 30 lbs.
• Familiarity with logistics and shipping procedures.
• Willingness to wear required PPE when necessary.
