Are you a motivated individual with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in our Kansas City, Missouri facility. This role is the backbone of our warehouse, ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, unloading trucks, inspecting goods for damage, and accurately documenting all incoming inventory. You will also be responsible for organizing and stocking materials in designated warehouse locations, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively. Additionally, you will assist with order fulfillment by retrieving materials and staging them for shipment. This position demands a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. Experience operating various types of material handling equipment is preferred. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve operational goals and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy logistics setting is crucial. We emphasize the importance of wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of heavy items, and requires stamina and agility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify against shipping documents.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Pick and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping.
- Adhere to all Safety and security procedures.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Support overall logistics and warehouse operations.
