Join our Distribution Center Associate team in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is multifaceted, involving tasks such as receiving and stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for delivery. You will play an integral part in our logistics network, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received items into appropriate warehouse locations using RF scanners.
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order requirements.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound logistics.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines and protocols, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with scanning equipment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and occasional overtime as needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
