Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a rewarding role? Our Phoenix, Arizona warehouse is seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately gathering products for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and efficiently, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order documentation.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Apply shipping labels and any required documentation to packages.
- Conduct visual inspections of products for damage or defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking and reporting procedures.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be capable of frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety vests and footwear.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and hazard awareness.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Reliable and punctual attendance record.
