We are looking for a highly motivated Material Handler to join our San Francisco, California logistics hub. As a Material Handler, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your duties will include loading and unloading materials, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining an organized inventory flow. This role demands physical stamina and a commitment to safety. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced environment. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount; therefore, adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The physical requirements of this position involve significant lifting, often exceeding 70 pounds, and performing tasks that require agility and dexterity. Responsibilities:
- Move, sort, and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Operate various material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Ensure proper placement and organization of inventory.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Respond to management requests and help coordinate warehouse activities.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
