We are seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk for our Des Moines, Iowa warehouse. This position is critical for managing the inflow of goods and ensuring accurate inventory records, supporting our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, and properly documenting all received items. Accurate data entry and meticulous record-keeping are essential. You will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is required, including adherence to all established protocols and the mandatory use of PPE . This role involves some physical activity, including the unloading of trucks and moderate Lifting . Experience with warehouse management systems and a good understanding of inventory control principles are beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a key function within our company's Logistics network. We are looking for reliable, organized individuals with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Your role ensures that our inventory system is up-to-date and accurate from the moment goods arrive.
