We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This role is essential for ensuring product availability and preventing discrepancies. You will be responsible for conducting physical inventory counts, reconciling stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and updating inventory management systems. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and excellent analytical skills are vital. This position supports our broader logistics and supply chain operations by providing reliable data on stock levels. Compliance with safety standards and the use of appropriate PPE are expected at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
- Update inventory management software with accurate stock data.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Receive and process returned goods, updating inventory accordingly.
- Assist in organizing warehouse stock for efficient access.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Generate inventory reports as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
