Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Picker/Packer for our busy distribution center in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment where efficiency, accuracy, and safety are top priorities.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or pick tickets.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
  • Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to ensure no errors.
  • Label packages with shipping information and any required documentation.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform lifting of items up to 40 pounds regularly.
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Contribute to overall team goals and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
  • Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
