Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety, precision in operation, and the ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting, are essential. You must strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and inventory to designated areas.
- Stack and store materials according to warehouse layout and safety guidelines.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with receiving and shipping functions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring clear pathways.
- Contribute to overall warehouse productivity and logistics objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE and following all safety rules.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed in a demanding logistics environment.
