Join our bustling warehouse operation in Dallas, Texas, as a Material Handler! This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. You'll be responsible for moving, organizing, and tracking materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and preparing materials for shipment or production. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and possesses a strong work ethic. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a significant advantage. Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to strictly follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your ability to work efficiently in a team environment and manage your time effectively will be key to success. We are looking for individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe and productive workplace. This position involves significant manual labor and Lifting, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and stage materials for outbound shipments or internal transfers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting and physical exertion.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
