We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Des Moines, Iowa warehouse team. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials and products within our logistics facility. Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, move inventory within the warehouse, and assist with stocking and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, possess all necessary certifications, and have a deep understanding of warehouse safety procedures. You will be responsible for conducting daily pre-operation checks on equipment and reporting any maintenance needs. Strong spatial awareness and the ability to navigate in a busy warehouse environment are essential. Maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues is paramount; strict adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. While forklift operation is the primary duty, some manual lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required.
