Responsibilities:
- Process and verify outgoing shipment details and documentation.
- Generate shipping labels and ensure proper application.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and update order statuses.
- Liaise with freight carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Perform final quality checks on packaged goods before dispatch.
- Manage the inventory of shipping supplies.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct and consistent use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Shipping Clerk role or similar administrative position.
- Proficiency in shipping software and general office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity for lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Familiarity with logistics and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
