In this role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse. This position is crucial for maintaining an organized and productive environment. A strong commitment to safety is essential, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse safety protocols. You will assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory, picking and packing orders for shipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. This role involves consistent lifting and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Stack and store materials in appropriate locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Perform tasks involving regular and heavy lifting.
- Contribute to overall logistics efficiency and team goals.
