We are looking for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for managing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation. Your attention to detail is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction. We foster a secure and professional work environment, providing all necessary training and resources. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in logistics and contribute to a growing company. Key duties include:
- Preparing and processing shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
- Coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verifying outgoing shipments against orders for accuracy.
- Ensuring packages are properly labeled and packaged for transit.
- Operating shipping software and updating tracking information.
- Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assisting with Loading and unloading as needed, which may involve some Lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Communicating with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Conducting inventory checks in the shipping area.
- Playing a vital part in our overall logistics efficiency.
The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong administrative and communication skills, and can work effectively under pressure.
