We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Technician to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of our warehouse equipment and facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning correctly to support our critical Logistics operations. You will work with a variety of equipment, and the ability to handle components, which may involve Lifting , is necessary. A proactive approach to Safety and the proper use of PPE are non-negotiable. This position requires a technical aptitude and a commitment to reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse facility to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA and company Safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Operate equipment safely during maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new warehouse equipment.
- Order and manage spare parts inventory.
- Ensure all workspace areas are clean and organized, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE , such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.
- Support the overall efficiency of our Logistics operations by minimizing downtime.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to upholding high standards of Safety .
