We are seeking detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our busy distribution center in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your efficiency and accuracy are paramount to ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the timely fulfillment of orders. We are dedicated to fostering a safe workplace and provide thorough training on all procedures and the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using order sheets, pick lists, or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details, ensuring correct product and quantity.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all information is clear and accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and stock replenishment activities.
- Meet individual productivity goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is an advantage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and lift items up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both individually and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
