Join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri, as a dedicated Receiving Clerk. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and documented. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the smooth flow of materials into our facility. A strong commitment to Safety and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are paramount. We are looking for organized, detail-oriented individuals who can efficiently manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies upon arrival.
- Verify received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately document all received inventory into the warehouse management system.
- Label and tag received items appropriately.
- Store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and organization.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to management and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize appropriate PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred. Must be capable of performing regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is required. Must be at least 18 years old. This position involves standing, walking, and manual dexterity for extended periods. Become a vital part of our St. Louis logistics team!
