Join our team in Orlando, Florida as a Material Handler! This essential role supports the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse and is key to our logistics network. You will be responsible for the physical movement of materials within the facility, ensuring items are transported safely and efficiently from receiving to storage, and from storage to shipping or production areas. This includes operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery. Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment is a critical part of this job, contributing to overall Safety and productivity. Adherence to all company Safety policies and the correct utilization of required PPE is mandatory. We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and a supportive team culture. Responsibilities:
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and other materials throughout the warehouse.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trailers and trucks as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement/retrieval.
- Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with Safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Wear all designated PPE consistently while on duty.
- Conduct basic safety checks on equipment before use.
- Must be capable of frequent and significant Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, and heavy Lifting for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and material flow.
- Commitment to Safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
