We are looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our Logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of all outgoing shipments. You will process shipping orders, prepare documentation, coordinate with carriers, and maintain shipping records. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to Safety are essential. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure all shipments meet company standards and customer expectations. This position requires proficiency in shipping software and a good understanding of shipping regulations. The ability to handle occasional Lifting and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are part of the daily requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our distribution network.
Responsibilities:
- Process all outgoing shipping orders accurately.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Verify package contents against order details.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled according to company and carrier requirements.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE.
- Assist in the warehouse as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and online shipping platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation.
- Ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and commitment to using PPE.
