Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counting and physical audits.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels, process adjustments, and generate reports.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Oversee the organization and storage of inventory to maximize space and accessibility.
- Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure smooth product flow.
- Develop and recommend improvements to inventory processes.
- Ensure adherence to all Safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Support the overall logistics and operational goals of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
- Commitment to using appropriate PPE at all times.
