You will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move products, load and unload trailers, and transport materials safely. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to perform tasks that involve physical activity and Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and other conveyances.
- Move products and materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and loading docks.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval.
- Follow all safety regulations and warehouse protocols.
- Ensure the proper use of PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of the logistics team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform tasks involving physical exertion and Lifting.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
