We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Clerk for our Miami, Florida location! This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and accounted for. Your work will directly support our logistics operations by providing reliable data on stock availability. This position requires a strong analytical mind, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail is paramount. While not as physically demanding as some warehouse roles, tasks may involve some light Lifting and movement of inventory. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where applicable, is expected. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or overstock situations.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stocking.
- Identify damaged or expired stock and process it according to procedures.
- Generate inventory reports for management.
- Support logistics and operations teams with inventory-related information.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory control role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to perform tasks that may involve some physical activity, including occasional Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety procedures.
