We have an exciting opening for a Shipping Clerk at our Sacramento, California facility. This position is key to our outbound logistics, ensuring all orders are accurately prepared and dispatched. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in handling shipping documentation and carrier coordination. Join our team and be instrumental in our supply chain success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Generate shipping labels and verify all required documentation is complete.
- Cross-reference shipment details with customer orders and system records.
- Arrange for carrier pick-ups and manage schedules.
- Maintain detailed logs of all shipments and tracking information.
- Ensure packages are packaged correctly for safe transit.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and utilize appropriate PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment status and updates.
- Assist with loading and unloading operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related Logistics role.
- Proficiency in shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to perform light Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Understanding of Logistics operations and shipping procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
