Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and ensure correct documentation is attached.
- Verify shipment details against customer orders and internal records.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and tracking information.
- Inspect packages for quality and damage before dispatch.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and Safety guidelines.
- Utilize appropriate PPE when handling packages and operating equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and office applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform some Lifting (up to 35 lbs).
- Understanding of Logistics processes and carrier operations.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
