Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and documentation.
- Verify order accuracy before shipment.
- Package items securely and appropriately for transit.
- Schedule pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve shipping issues.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Manage warehouse staging areas for outgoing shipments.
- Uphold high standards for Safety in all shipping activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carriers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting as required for package handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and PPE.
