This role involves a wide range of tasks, including receiving and inspecting goods, accurately picking and packing orders, stocking inventory, and preparing shipments. Your contribution is vital to our ability to serve our customers efficiently and maintain high standards of quality. Safety is paramount in our workplace, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stock incoming merchandise in designated inventory locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock checks.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support the broader logistics team to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Awareness of safety regulations and the importance of wearing PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance goals.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about logistics processes.
