Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and weights.
- Transporting materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Verifying the contents of shipments against order records.
- Maintaining inventory levels and organizing stock efficiently.
- Ensuring all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assisting with general warehouse upkeep and cleanliness.
- Supporting the logistics team in achieving daily operational targets.
- Performing routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure proper working condition.
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, typically up to 60 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent stamina and physical fitness for demanding tasks.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
