Become a key member of our logistics operations as a Picker/Packer in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for locating specific items within the warehouse, carefully packing them, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect items for quality and any defects before packing.
- Pack orders with care, using appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transit.
- Verify order accuracy to prevent shipping errors.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing goals.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent lifting, up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and use PPE correctly.
This role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail. Safety is a priority, and all employees are trained on safe lifting practices and the mandatory use of PPE to ensure a secure working environment. Your work directly supports our logistics operations.
