We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in New York City, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Key duties include receiving, processing, and organizing incoming stock, performing regular cycle counts, and conducting physical inventory audits. You will assist in investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date and reflects actual stock levels. Your attention to detail will be crucial in minimizing errors and ensuring efficient stock rotation. Collaboration with warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping departments is vital for seamless inventory flow. Strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with inventory software, and the ability to perform tasks accurately under pressure. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds may be required. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics principles.
